Darren has over 25 years’ experience of working within the Financial Services Industry. In 2011 after many of the large corporate financial companies pulled out of the financial services industry, Darren decided it was time to set up his own company and with the Support of Paul Hancox, On 28th September 2011, Crystal Clear Financial Planning (CCFPL) was set up. Then on 28th May 2015, they expanded and Chrysalis Wealth Management (CWML) was born! Darren and Paul, were the Directors of CCFPL & CWML until Paul retired in 2022.

Since 2015, the CWML team has continued to grow and develop to ensure that together we are achieving the best outcomes for our customers. No matter where the future takes CWML, it will always remain a company focused on core values, principles and trust, started back in 2015 by 2 friends.

Darren has the overall responsibility in exploring new and existing business opportunities, developing business strategies for growth and supporting his team in being the best that they can be and providing a great customer service to all of our clients, new or existing. His strong desire and passion to be the guiding hand through a client’s financial needs, came from being a fully qualified financial adviser and holding a diploma in Financial Services along with other notable accreditations.

Outside of work, Darren loves spending time with his family. Darren has been married to his lovely wife Coral for over 30 years now and together they have a daughter, Lauren, who joined the CWML family in 2022 and son, Samuel, who is currently doing an apprenticeship in Engineering.

He also has a love for travelling and playing all sports. Darren is the coach and club treasurer for his son’s local football team, Littleover Dazzlers and he has been for nearly 10 years!

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Have known John from when he worked for the Co Op, he is polite, friendly, felt comfortable with his attitude and persona, when we needed advise John was our choice.

How has John Tucker helped you?

He is always approachable, and will listen to any concerns we might have. Has taken time to talk to our family

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes we have and pleased with the outcome

What could they have done better?

Just keep doing what they do best.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We had some savings which we wanted to invest, perhaps long term.

How has John Tucker helped you?

John has had a long chat with us and given us the reassurance that the investments we have taken out are very adequate for our demands.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Most definitely, as we were able to talk with him face to face made a great difference as that is not always the way with a lot of companies. That reassurance meant the world to us.

What could they have done better?

There was nothing that could have been better.

I had been initially with the co op with another colleague of Johns for many years. John has just taking over in the last year.

How has John Tucker helped you?

Yes John has helped me recently. I had a meeting with John just recently along with Darren. They are both very experienced in financial advise and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes definitely I am very happy with Johns advice with both my ISA and my wife’s ISA.
